goInvoicer Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of goInvoicer (the "app"), operated by Prism Apps LLC, 5900 Balcones Drive STE 100, Austin, TX 78731, USA ("we," "us"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

1. What goInvoicer is

goInvoicer is a tool for creating invoices and estimates, tracking clients and expenses, and optionally accepting payments from your own clients. We provide the software; we are not a party to any transaction between you and your clients, and we don't provide accounting, tax, or legal advice. You're responsible for the accuracy of the invoices, amounts, and tax information you enter.

2. Your account

If you enable cloud sync, you're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide an accurate email address. You may delete your account at any time from Settings — see our Privacy Policy for what that does.

3. Price and subscriptions

• The current version of goInvoicer is free to use, and all features are included at no charge. There are no in-app purchases or subscriptions in this version.
• We may introduce optional paid plans in a future version. If we do, the price and terms will be shown clearly before you buy, and billing will be handled through the App Store or Google Play.
• If paid subscriptions are introduced, they would auto-renew at the price shown at purchase unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends, and you could manage or cancel them at any time through your Apple ID or Google Play settings. Refunds would be subject to Apple's and Google's own policies — we don't receive your payment details and can't issue refunds ourselves.
• Your invoices, clients, and other data remain yours and are not deleted if your plan ever changes.

4. Payments you collect from your clients

If you connect Stripe or share manual payment instructions (bank transfer, QR code) with your clients, that payment relationship is strictly between you and your client. goInvoicer is not a party to it, does not hold or move your clients' funds (Stripe-processed payments settle directly to your own Stripe account), and is not responsible for chargebacks, disputes, refunds, or non-payment. You're responsible for complying with any tax, invoicing, or payment-processing laws that apply to your business.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use goInvoicer to:

• Create fraudulent invoices or impersonate a business or person without authorization;
• Upload unlawful, infringing, or abusive content (including via the AI scan/draft features);
• Attempt to interfere with, reverse-engineer, or abuse the service or its infrastructure;
• Use the public invoice-link feature to distribute anything other than a legitimate invoice to its intended recipient.

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior. Content is filtered, users can report any invoice or AI result they believe is abusive, and we may immediately suspend or permanently terminate — without notice — any account that uploads, generates, or distributes objectionable, harassing, or unlawful content, or that abuses another user. Reports are reviewed and acted on promptly; email abuse@goinvoicer.com to report abuse.

6. AI features

Drafting/polishing invoice text, and scanning business cards or receipts, use a third-party AI model (see our Privacy Policy). AI output can be inaccurate — review anything AI-generated before sending it to a client or relying on it for bookkeeping.

7. Team members

If you invite a team member, you're responsible for what they do with the shared business data while their access is active. You can revoke access at any time.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

goInvoicer is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including lost income from invoices, missed payments, or data loss. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't legally be limited.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms or the app's features over time. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.

10. Termination

You may stop using goInvoicer and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or the law.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the app will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Texas.
